                        The Cells

The cell is a basic structural unit of life and a functional unit of life and it is the smallest function of life.

The cell was discovered in 1665 by an English botanist named Robert Hooke he saw a honeycomb like a structure in the cork, however he discovered cell wall. Well the first living cell was discovered by Leeuwenhoek.

There are two types of cells and those are as follow:-

(i). Prokaryotic Cells, (ii). Eukaryotic cells

  • Protoplasm of the cell
